I need some advice/help.
My 1 year old daughter want to pet our family dog, but instead of petting him she pulls on his fur. She obviously doesn't know how to pet an animal yet. My dog gets angry and already has tried biting her about 3 times! My husband and I always catch him. I'm scared that one day he will end up biting her.

For any of you with pets...how are your pets behaving with your children? Any tips on what I can do to prevent from our dog bitting my daughter?

you can post this in the forum (this is the blog section)

    here: http://worldformoms.com/forumdisplay.php?30-Toddlers

or even in the pet forum: http://worldformoms.com/forumdisplay.php?58-Our-Furkids

I think you'd get a lot more advice if posted there and the blog. :)

For us we play rough with the animals to get them used to the roughness of the kids, however, the difference is always in how old the pet and how long you've had the pet before having children
