pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy = PUPPP
I'm sorry I have not had anyone who has experienced that. But if there is something you're experiencing and would liek to share - we'd be happy to listen and try to help you out best we could!

I'm struggling with it at the moment. It's strongly itchy and could be annoying. It also leaves marks on my skin. :(

It's really irritating, and keeps me awake at night.
My OB referred me to a Dermatologist, and advised me to apply clobetasol lotion on the entire affected area. Plus some moisturizer every hour. I can only use hypo allergenic soap.
She also prescribed Tavegyl but only take it when I can no longer tolerate the itchiness. It helps a little coz it dozes me off, but most of the time it doesn't.

I hope so too. But that remains as "hope" coz my OB already told me that these rashes won't go away until I give birth. :(

I wonder if that is what I had. It was only under my arms at first and then started spreading towards my chest and then down. It started at the end of my pregnancy though. My husband kept asking the Dr and nurses what we could do because it would itch so bad that it'd drive me nuts. Even started bleeding because I was scratching so hard trying to make it stop.

The usual pattern of this would start from the belly. But it normally stays underarms, legs, neck, the parts that sweat a lot.

It isn't. They look like you've got goosebumps but they are red and very itchy.

I know! I hate it! I really really do! But at least my OB made sure that these don't harm the baby.

I got something kinda like the PUPPP when I was prego. Cause that's what I thought it was and my OB did too but it stayed about 2 months and disappeared about 3 weeks b4 I had Kasey. I seriously thought I was going to scratch my skin off!

I think it's hydrocortizone ((sp?)) and it burns.
